The CLARIS Smart+ filter cartridge is an intelligent water filter that revolutionizes water filtration for perfect coffee results. Coffee consists of 98 percent water, and the quality of the water is essential for achieving the perfect coffee. JURA's CLARIS Smart+ ensures extra hygiene in the fully automatic coffee machine, right from the water tank, increasing the protection, product safety, and service life of the machine.

At the lower end of the CLARIS filter cartridge is a depot with natural active ingredients that stabilize the water in the tank and reduce limescale deposits in the tank's bottom area. This process occurs through the natural movement of the water in the tank, without any additional energy or action required. The upper part of the CLARIS filter cartridge filters the exact amount of water needed for a perfect cup of coffee using ion exchange and activated carbon in the upflow principle.

The RFID technology in the fully automatic machine detects when a filter is inserted and automatically activates the correct mode. It continuously collects information on filter usage and reports when the capacity is exhausted, making it easier than ever to change the filter and enabling CLARIS Smart+ to develop its effectiveness to the full.

The CLARIS Smart+ supplements the tried-and-tested professional upflow principle with a deposit of natural active ingredients. This natural movement of the water through the depot stabilizes the water and leads to less limescale deposits, ensuring maximum cleanliness in the water tank.

Thanks to the innovative formula, the filter cartridges are suitable for any tap water worldwide. The extremely effective granules filter limescale to the optimum level (even at low water hardness) and reduce harmful and taste-impairing substances such as chlorine more efficiently than ever before. Minerals and fluorides, which act as important flavor carriers, are retained. Optimum limescale stabilization in the water tank and efficient filtration during coffee preparation ensure the best hygiene and optimum water quality for a perfect coffee aroma.

Jura's new generation Claris Smart+ filter cartridges have an additional deposit of effective granules at their lower end, which stabilize the water in the tank and reduce limescale deposits at the bottom. They are suitable for Jura coffee machines: Z8, Z6, J6 / J600, S8 / S80, E8 / E80 / E800 / E6 /E60 /E600, D6 / D60 / D600, ENA8, WE6, and WE8, ensuring freshly filtered coffee water before every brew.
