This process occurs naturally, without the need for additional energy or action, as the water flows lightly through the depot due to its natural movement.

The upper part of the CLARIS filter cartridge utilizes ion exchange and activated carbon in the upflow principle to filter the exact amount of water needed for a perfect cup of coffee. RFID technology in the fully automatic machine detects the presence of the filter and automatically activates the correct mode, continuously collecting information on filter usage and reporting when the capacity is exhausted.
