Thanks to modern RFID (Radio-frequency Identification) technology, the coffee machine can now continually communicate with the filter, recognizing when a filter has been inserted and automatically activating the appropriate mode.

This innovative system not only makes changing the filter easier than ever before, but also allows the CLEARYL Pro Smart to achieve optimum effectiveness. The filter works according to the professional up-flow principle, efficiently using the filter capacity by only filtering the exact amount of water required for each preparation, and never leaving standing pre-filtered water in the tank, which could become unhygienic.

In addition to removing limescale, the CLEARYL Pro Smart also filters out heavy metals and substances that can impair the smell and taste of the coffee, such as chlorine, while retaining the minerals important for health. The automatic filter detection feature ensures the machine recognizes when a filter has been inserted, automatically switching to filter mode and starting the rinsing process.

When the filter capacity is nearly exhausted, the machine will prompt the user to change the filter. If the filter is not changed, the machine will activate the descaling mode. After a certain amount of use, the user will be prompted to descale the machine, which can only be done when the filter is removed, eliminating the risk of user error.
